The UK-Egyptian Welfare, Impact, Society, Economy (WISE) Partnership

The UK-Egyptian pharmacoeconomics partnership for Welfare, Impact, Society and Economy (“The UK-Egyptian pharmacoeconomics WISE partnership).

The partnership between the UK (Bournemouth University) and Egyptian (Faculty of Pharmacy, Cairo University) universities, involves working with the professional body for pharmacoeconomics research in Egypt (called “ISPOR”) and the country’s Ministry of
Health. The knowledge transfer will create skilled practitioners in pharmacoeconomics.

 

Bournemouth University was established in 1992 as a new university and is ranked in the Top 70 of Young Universities list of THE World University Rankings 2022. Bournemouth University aims to inspire learning, advance knowledge, and enrich society through its Fusion approach to education, research, and professional practice. 

Faculty of Pharmacy

Faculty of Pharmacy, Cairo University has been ranked 81st worldwide in QS Ranking by subject (Pharmacy and Pharmacology) 2022.

Pharmacoeconomics is a branch of health economics which deals with identifying, measuring, and comparing the costs and consequences of pharmaceutical products and services.
